David is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  He has worked in nursing for over 25 years, and has been a nurse practitioner for over 20.  After completing a degree from N.C State, he attended Arizona State University where he completed both undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees.  He has served in multiple settings including private practice, community mental health centers, university health centers and inpatient facilities.

David has experience working with individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues, and utilizes a personalized plan of care in collaboration with his patients to reach their goal. He embraces a holistic approach to addressing psychiatric issues utilizing medications while developing a realistic plan to achieve greater well-being. In addition to using medications, David uses an eclectic variety of interventions in this pursuit, including brief solution focused therapy, reality-based therapy, insight oriented and lifestyle management.
