Doctorate of Social Work & Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker
Dr. Kendra Stuke received a Doctorate of Social Work from Capella University. Kendra is a Licensed Specialized Clinical Social Worker who spent most of her career treating children and teens suffering from trauma. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work at Washburn University. She began her career working with the Developmentally Disabled population as a case manager. Her master’s level social work practicum was completed at the Department of Children and Family Services in Topeka, where she worked as an Investigator. After completing her Master’s, Kendra spent the next 10 years at DCF where she investigated abuse. At DCF, Kendra became the Program Administrator for the Department of Children and Family Services for a 24 County Region overseeing Children and Adult Services. Kendra went on to obtain her clinical licensure at the Family Service and Guidance Center in Topeka, KS where she worked in the preschool outpatient and crises center. Kendra returned to Child Welfare and worked for St. Francis Community Services as an Adoption Specialist. Before joining the Katie’s Way team, Kendra worked at Via Christi Outpatient Behavioral Health Center treating outpatient psychotherapy for children, teens, young adults and their families. Kendra has over twenty years experience in social work practice. She has a passion for treating children, youth, teen and young adults who suffer from trauma, abuse, ADHD and anxiety. She specializes with children who have needs related to foster care, adoption and Autism.
