Mattie-Kay Jackson is a licensed master social worker and is a native of Junction City, KS. She graduated from Washburn University with her Bachelor and Masters Degree of Social Work; with an emphasis in school social work. She is a dedicated, client-centered, and strengths based social worker with experience motivating individuals/families, and communities to achieve and maintain their goals. Mattie-Kay values the importance of relationships with clients/families, and their community to aid them during their time of need. Mattie-Kay is certified in play therapy techniques and is currently pursuing her specialty clinical license of social work. Mattie-Kay's therapeutic approach is based in play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and trauma-informed care. She has experience in treating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and assisting families in the child welfare system.
