Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist


Nathan is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministry at Manhattan Christian College. He then went to work for Pawnee Mental Health as a therapeutic case manager. After working for Pawnee for several years, Nathan moved to California to earn his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University.

After completing his Master’s, Nathan worked with at-risk youth in Southern California before moving back to Manhattan. In Manhattan Nathan worked for Flint Hills Job Corps., providing mental health support to students and staff. He has also been in private practice, both with Cornerstone Family Counseling, and most recently, in an independent practice.

Nathan uses a collaborative and empowering approach to therapy that is based in CBT and Solution-focused techniques. Nathan has experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems. Nathan also has extensive experience helping clients navigate the integration of their faith as a facet of treatment. Nathan enjoys, and looks forward to, seeing his clients embrace change and become more confident and capable of managing the barriers that hinder their fullest life.
