Susan is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master's of Nursing from Walden University with a specialty in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. She treats children, adolescents, and adults with a multifaceted approach that includes psychotherapy and prescription medications when needed. Susan has worked in a variety of settings throughout her 25 year career, including cardiology, pediatric cardiology, emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient mental health as well as geriatric nursing facilities.

Susan strives to provide awareness, education, understanding and a path toward healing with treatment plan recommendations and medication management. Her goal is to reserve a safe space where understanding, growth and healing can occur for her patients. At Katie’s Way, Susan will work with children, adolescents and young adults providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief psychotherapy.
