As a therapist with Katie’s Way Charities, my main hope is to offer a deep sense of safety so we can explore the areas of life that can be puzzling, painful, and tender. I believe that we are equipped to connect with one another in a deep and meaningful way throughout our lives. While preferably this would happen free of discomfort and sadness, most of us aren’t that fortunate. From one single event to a lifetime of pain and suffering, I work with people to help them shed the scars of their pain and embrace the warmth of their core self and the beautiful potential for healing. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a master’s in Social Work with an emphasis in clinical. I am very happy to have recently completed my certification process with EMDRIA as a certified EMDR clinician. EMDR is a leading and highly accepted evidenced based therapy approach for assisting all trauma and other related concerns. I am also trained in other trauma evidenced based related focused therapy approaches.
